Bank of Texas has expanded its footprint in The Woodlands with a new office and branch at 24 Waterway Avenue, a premier mixed-use building at the north end of Waterway Square Park. The move reflects the bank’s strategic growth in the Houston market and its commitment to serving clients in The Woodlands and surrounding areas.

The bank now occupies 8,660 square feet at 24 Waterway, with 4,680 square feet on the first floor dedicated to its enterprise financial center. This space accommodates consumer banking services, private wealth management, commercial banking, and mortgage teams. An additional 3,980 square feet on the third floor provides office space, including flexible, hotel-style work areas for employees operating across multiple locations.

Bank of Texas previously maintained a commercial and mortgage office at Hughes Landing but sought a location with greater visibility to support its expansion efforts. “Much of The Woodlands was intentionally designed to tuck businesses behind tree lines, so visibility is key when attracting new business,” said Randy Walker, Houston Region CEO of Bank of Texas. “24 Waterway provides the exposure we need while keeping us in the heart of The Woodlands.” Jon Lee of CBRE’s Dallas office represented the tenant, Bank of Texas. The new location positions Bank of Texas to better serve Montgomery County, including the rapidly growing areas of Conroe and Willis. “The Woodlands branch strengthens our ability to support businesses and clients throughout the region,” Walker added. “As demand grows, we have the option to expand our presence at 24 Waterway and will consider additional locations if needed.”

Bank of Texas is ranked No. 15 on the Houston Business Journal’s 2024 Largest Houston-Area Banks List, with local deposits totaling $2.39 billion as of June 30. For more information, visit bankoftexas.com
